Workshop Manager

About the Role The role offers an opportunity to manage a customer-focused workshop environment while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and vehicle care. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day workshop operations, service workflow, bay utilization, and job allocation. Lead, coach, and supervise technicians, service advisors, and support staff. Monitor repair quality, turnaround time, productivity, customer satisfaction, and workshop performance metrics. Coordinate with parts, service, and customer relationship teams to ensure timely vehicle delivery. Maintain compliance with safety procedures, manufacturer standards, and internal operating policies. Resolve escalated customer concerns and implement corrective actions where required. Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in workshop management, automotive service operations, or a related position. Strong understanding of vehicle servicing, repair processes, diagnostics, and workshop controls. Good people-management, communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work full-time in an in-office automotive workshop environment in Guwahati. This is a full-time opportunity in the automotive industry with a monthly salary range of ₹25,000 to ₹40,000, depending on relevant experience and suitability for the role.
