Amentum is seeking an Accounting Clerk I for Las Vegas, NV.PurposePerforms routine introductory accounting clerical operations to support the daily functions of the finance department.ResponsibilitiesExamines and verifies accounting documents for accuracy.Identifies errors and corrects data entries per standard procedures.Performs entry-level reconciliation tasks under direct supervisor guidance.Posts recurring financial transactions into the accounting system.Verifies mathematical accuracy and escalates variances to management.Ensures all completed work adheres strictly to internal controls.Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.Minimum Knowledge & RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.Entry-level role; prior professional accounting experience is not required.Strong attention to detail and basic numerical literacy.Work EnvironmentStandard office environment.
