Managed Vision Care - Billing Operations Associate

Visionworks of America seeks a Managed Vision Care Billing Operations Associate to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely billing and reimbursement for vision and medical exams and vision materials. The role handles insurance claims, payment posting, claim follow-up and appeals, account adjustments, and patient balance statements. ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit clean claims to various insurance companies either electronically or by paper in accordance with specific payer guidelines and/or contract requirementsAnalyze and correct first pass rejected claims for completeness and accuracy of information for second pass clean claim submissionResearch and perform all primary and secondary billing claim status follow up activities for assigned insurance plansReview, evaluate and process all claim appeals through resubmission to insurance carriers with complete and accurate supporting documentation requiredResearch and recommend any third party customer account adjustments and/or write-off
