Legal Citation Specialist (Law Students)

YO AI Labs is seeking law students and recent law graduates to support a legal citation project. The Legal Citation Specialist will review Bluebook citation rubrics, identify unclear rules and edge cases, and create accurate citation-checking tasks with corrections and explanations. Responsibilities Review existing Bluebook and pinpoint citation (pincite) grading rubrics to identify unclear, incomplete, or inconsistently applied rulesIdentify citation edge cases that are not covered by existing rubrics and recommend appropriate solutionsCreate sample citation-checking tasks by pairing source materials with citations containing realistic errors, along with corrected citations and explanations of the relevant rulesDevelop tasks covering a range of citation types and difficulty levels, from basic formatting errors to complex pincite and source-support issuesApply Bluebook rules consistently across all assigned submissionsFlag ambiguous cases to project coordinators rather than making undo
