About the role
Tabbed is hiring a Junior QA Engineer to establish its quality practice for a React Native mobile app on iOS and Android. The role begins with manual testing and builds toward automated regression testing, POS terminal test fixtures, and QA processes in close partnership with engineering and product teams. Responsibilities Create our first formal end-to-end manual test plans and execute them on iOS and Android for new features, bug fixes, and release candidatesWrite clear, reusable test cases from product requirements, designs, and user stories, and organize them into a living test libraryIdentify, document, and track defects with precise reproduction steps, noting whether issues are platform-specific or shared across iOS and Android, and work directly with developers to verify fixesUse Node.js and TypeScript tooling to debug issues, inspect logs and API traffic, and help pinpoint root causesPerform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, device and OS-version differences, and usabi
