IT Desktop Engineering Intern

Leidos is seeking an intern to support its IT desktop engineering team within the Department of Justice IT Portfolio. The role assists with application troubleshooting, software packaging and deployment, documenting IT issues, resolving system issues, and monitoring system health. ResponsibilitiesAssist the engineering team with application troubleshootingAssist the engineering team with software packaging, including testing and deploymentHelp document root causes of IT issuesParticipate in troubleshooting sessions to help resolve system issuesDraft technical documents to help others better understand the IT environmentMonitor system state of health and take action to resolve issuesOther duties as assigned QualificationsThe individual selected for this position should be pursuing a degree in a technical discipline such as engineering or computer scienceThe candidate should have a broad technical backgroundThe candidate should have the ability to multitask and juggle numerous priorities
