Full-Stack Application Developer

WestEd is hiring a Full-Stack Application Developer to enhance, support, and maintain its MSIN custom web-based application. The role also helps modernize legacy .NET and SQL systems into scalable, cloud-ready architecture and contributes across application development, database optimization, testing, and deployment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain the MSIN custom web-based application using .NET (C#), SQL Server, and AngularDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve production application issues impacting system users, working in collaboration with service desk and QA staffHelp lead the upgrade of legacy .NET applications (e.g., .NET Framework) to modern .NET (Core/6/7/8) architecturesRefactor monolithic systems into modular or microservices-based designs where appropriateModernize data access layers using tools like Entity Framework (EF) Core, Dapper, or optimized ORM strategiesAnalyze and optimize SQL Server performance (e.g., indexing, query tuning, execution plans)Redesign and migrate
