DevOps Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps\nEngineer to join the expanding platform engineering team in pune. This role\nfocuses on architecting, maintaining, and scaling continuous integration and\ndeployment pipelines to support mission-critical infrastructure and application\ndelivery. The ideal candidate will possess deep, administrative-level expertise\nin Git and Jenkins, paired with strong coding proficiency in Python and Shell\nto drive comprehensive workflow automation and support ongoing cloud suite operations. Key Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline\n Architecture: Design, build, and optimize complex Jenkins pipelines from scratch,\n leveraging advanced features (e.g., Jenkins Shared Libraries) to\n standardize enterprise build and release processes. Version Control\n Management: Administer Git workflows, enforce optimal branching and merging strategies\n (GitFlow, trunk-based development), and resolve complex merge conflicts\n for distributed engineering teams. Workflow Automation: Develop, test, and\n maintain robust, production-grade automation scripts using Python and\n Shell to eliminate manual operational tasks and streamline deployment\n workflows. Platform Integration: Collaborate closely\n with development and infrastructure teams to integrate CI/CD processes\n with cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and metadata enrichment pipelines. Performance &\n Reliability: Proactively identify pipeline bottlenecks, troubleshoot build failures,\n and implement monitoring to ensure high availability and rapid execution\n of deployment cycles. Requirements Required Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of dedicated\n experience in DevOps, Build/Release Engineering, or Platform Automation. Version Control: Expert-level command of\n Git, including repository administration, webhook integrations, and GitOps\n best practices. CI/CD Systems: Deep, hands-on\n experience configuring and scaling Jenkins environments as an\n administrator. Scripting &\n Development: Solid, demonstrable proficiency in Python (e.g., interacting with APIs,\n data parsing) and advanced Shell (Bash) scripting. OS & Environment: Strong Linux/Unix\n system administration skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience\n supporting cloud migration initiatives or operating within OCI (Oracle\n Cloud Infrastructure) environments. Familiarity with\n containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and\n infrastructure-as-code tools.
