Design Engineer - Heavy Engineering

Job Brief Acufore is seeking a Design Engineer-Heavy Engineering to work in a balanced environment at a fast-growing company with established clientele. Job Description: Participate in a Team culture, from initial design to prototyping and testing, working with Sales, manufacturing, and testing teams by providing unique out-of-the-box designs utilizing specific scopes of work. Primary Designs are for custom heavy engineered products like lifting equipment, Forestry Equipment, earth-moving equipment and attachments for Skid steer, Backhoe, Excavator, tractor, etc., using SolidWorks, Inventor and Solid Edge. Develop design concepts, engineering calculations, 3D models, and detailed drawings, while working closely with international customers and their fabrications. CAD automation, programming, Macro development (experience in VBA, DriveWorks, or other programming languages required). Communicating with customers and validating/signing-off approval drawings, creating as-built updates, maintaining project records including change-orders/ adders and participating in Lessons-Learned/Best Practices Post Project Analysis. Attending customer pre-design discussions, project kick-off calls and providing development engineering support. Academic & trades qualifications: (UG- B.Tech/B.E./Diploma-Mechanical, Production/Industrial) Work experience & skills: 2-5 years of Experience in (Design-Heavy Equipment, Sheet metal design, Basic understanding about GD &T and Manufacturing processes)
