The role supports data discoverability, resolves data issues, and partners with analytics and business teams to deliver reporting-ready datasets. Responsibilities Author and review schemas and data contracts for consistency and governanceDevelop and optimize dbt models for Snowflake and Materialize analytics layersUnderstand and apply medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold layering) for data modelingConfigure clusters and role-based access for shared environmentsDocument datasets to ensure discoverability and proper usage across teamsPartner with BI developers, analysts, and business teams to deliver reporting/dashboard-ready datasetsInvestigate and resolve data issues, ensuring durable (not band-aid) fixesParticipate in design reviews to align technical solutions with business requirements Qualifications Expertise in DBT, Data modeling, Snowflake, Kafka and SQLB
