Data Analyst

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOBAt this level, Data Analysts learn and perform specialized systems and reporting tasks, under supervision, with some latitude for independent action. The objectives at this level are simple report writing, data validation, and end user education.Incumbents report to the Alternative Payment Strategies Manager and will be assigned a focus area: Hospital/Clinics (with focus on Financial, Operational and Clinical Areas) or Health Plan within the Driscoll Health System (DHS).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollows the Driscoll Way with communication, end user engagement, and customer service at all times.Follows all guidelines for PHI and data management.Ability to run, export and review reports and data within.Create and run basic SQL/SAS query and has understanding of data models within their assigned focus area.Is or becomes proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, Dashboards, etc.Engagement with end users: provide report training, assist with
