College Intern

GENERAL SUMMARY: A college level actuarial analyst position that supports the development of actuarial studies and analyses while learning the basics of health insurance and how the actuarial functions support and assist with the growth and success of the company. This program allows interns the chance to apply their classroom knowledge to real life examples and enhance their actuarial skills and techniques. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completing meaningful assignments with strong direction and support from their supervisor and coworkers. Follow standard procedures, processes, and documentation. Work under a supervisor to complete reports and analyze data. Learn the basics of data pulling using different Data Manipulation Programs (SAS, SQL Developer, etc.). Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues. Strong ability to recognize and automate repetitive tasks.
