About the role
Stripe is hiring a Backend / API Engineer for Radar, its fraud and abuse prevention team. The role builds backend services, enterprise APIs, and platform infrastructure that help businesses detect and prevent fraud, investigate threats, and bring machine learning and AI capabilities into production. Responsibilities Build and operate reliable, low-latency services that detect and prevent fraud and abuse at scaleDesign APIs and dashboard experiences that help businesses investigate threats, configure defenses, and understand how Radar protects themDevelop the shared platform and infrastructure that enable teams to build and launch new Radar capabilitiesWork directly with users to understand emerging threats and turn those insights into broadly useful productsPartner with ML engineers and data scientists to bring new signals, models, and AI capabilities into productionOwn projects end to end, from technical design and implementation through rollout, measurement, and iterationUphold a hig
